Choosing the right toilet is an important part of the decoration, which is related to the comfort and hygiene of daily life. Let's understand the classification of toilets and the advantages and disadvantages of different toilets.
1. Classification by the appearance of the toilet structure, there are the following three types:
1) One Piece Toilet: The water tank and the bowl are fired as a whole and instead of being separated separately.
² Advantages: Firstly, due to its construction style, there are fewer gaps in the exterior of the toilet for dirt, dust, grime, and other debris to get trapped in, reducing the time and effort it takes to clean the toilet. Secondly, There are a range of sizes, shapes, and flushing styles of one piece toilet for your selection.Thirdly, in general, one piece toilet flushes with less noise.
² Disadvantages: One the one hand, the one-piece toilet is fired in one time which makes the success rate relatively low,so that the cost is higher.
2) Two Piece Toilet: The toilet consists of the water tank and toilet bowl, the firing molding rate can usually reach more than 90%.
² Advantages:Two piece toilets are typically less expensive than one-piece or wall-hung toilets. Besides, they are easier to install than one-piece toilets because each piece weighs less than a full one-piece toilet, and the small size of each piece is makes them simpler to lift, maneuver, and put in place.
² Disadvantages: The two piece type may be a bit more difficult to keep clean because of the gap between the tank and the bowl. And in general, they are a bit bigger than one-piece toilets, so they are not the best option if space is a concern. Finally, because of the spliced structure, the toilet tank is at risk of leaking.

3) Wall Hung Toilet:The water tank is embedded in the wall, and the toilet bowl is placed separately outside the wall.
² Advantages:Firstly, it is very obvious that wall hung toilets have a sense of fashion and technology improving the appearance level of bathroom. At the same time, the flushing system and drain are installed inside the wall, reducing the amount of space that the toilet takes up which are more suitable for small bathrooms or ensuites. Thanks to its wall-mounted installation, it has no sanitary dead spots.
² Disadvantages:First of all, wall hung toilet is more expensive and require a higher budget. And the most important is that using wall hung toilet needs to reserve the position for the concealed water tank in the wall, and the maintenance will be more troublesome if there is any failure.

2. Classification by the flushing systems of the toilet, there are the following two types:

1) Siphonic Toilet: The trapway is “S” shape. While the trapway fills with water during the flush, it initiates a siphonic action and "pulls" material out of the bowl.
² Advantages:Siphonic Toilet produces minimal noise. And due to the high water level, the siphonic toilet has a good anti-odor effect.
² Disadvantages:Small and long waste hole as a result of narrow trapway, which maybe Easy to cause toilet clogging.

2) Washdown Toilet: Use the momentum of the water flow to drain th material inside of the toilet.
² Advantages: Large and short waste hole as a result of wide trapway reduces the risk of toilet clogging .Wide trapway can also handle heavy loads
² Disadvantages: There is no S-shape trapway to block out odor. And it also makes more noise which may affect your partner's sleep at night.
